Honor Thespian Application

To apply, send an email to nancy.curtis@vbschools.com with the requested information and answer the following questions:

Your (Thespian) parents

1. Use the Troupe 3178 Star/Honor Thespian point record (see directions below) to create a complete resume of in- and out-of-school theatre experiences. Attach this when finished.
2. What do you feel have been your most significant contributions to Troupe 3178?
3. What, to you, is the importance of Thespians in school/community/society?
4. What, to you, is the importance of Thespians to educational theatre?
5. What is the importance of Thespians to you?

Limit your answers to questions 2-5 to only 200 words. Remember that points alone are not the only factor in earning the title of Honor Thespian. It is about continued involvement, commitment, excellence, integrity, enthusiasm, and passion for theatre.

Directions for the Point Record:
Right-click the link and choose the "Save Target As..." option.
Once downloaded, right-click the file and choose "Open with..." and then pick Microsoft Excel from the program choices.
When the window pops up, choose the "Read-Only" option.
Fill in the information in the appropriate fields and then go to "File" > "Save As" and choose "Microsoft Excel Workbook" from the dropdown menu below the file name ("Save as type:"). Put your first and last name in for the file name.
